Man oh man! One of the biggest, most popular and badass Marvel series is making a return to the big screen after 3 years of absence. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is the sequel to the first movie and seems to plan to mark its return with a bang! Now, I have always been skeptical of a sequel, as they tend to be lower in quality than its predecessor, and worry that this film might be the same. We will see whether my worry would be proven to be true…or perhaps I would get blown away instead? Read on below to discover the answer!

‘Alien: Covenant’ Prologue Reveals the Fate of Shaw and David Post-‘Prometheus’!!! Check It Out!!

As part of the Alien Day celebration, 20th Century Fox has released “The Crossing”, a new, official prologue to Ridley Scott‘s Alien: Covenant that not only reveals the fates of Elizabeth Shaw and the android David after the events of Prometheus, but also stars Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender in their former roles. That’s a pretty big deal considering that this sequence is not expected to be part of the finished film, though it does answer part of the question of what Shaw and David have been up to on their spacefaring journey.

But perhaps it reveals too much. Some recent images released by Empire revealed some curious scenes which we assumed were from Alien: Covenant, but at least one of them was actually from this new short film. We’ll break it down after you’ve had a chance to view it, but let me just say that I

13 Reasons Why was meant to address rape culture and suicide – but did it?

Like many others, I’ve just finished binge-watching Netflix’s new show, 13 Reasons Why, and yes I might be a bit slow on the ball to be writing something up about it, I wasn’t really expecting to. But after getting through all 13 episodes (naturally) I couldn’t help but pen down a few thoughts. In truth, I found it quite hard to watch, and it wasn’t just because of the overdramatic, teenage crime detective vibe that should have been left back in 2009 with veronica Mars, it was mainly to do with the abhorrent sexism, dismissive nature of mental health and half-hearted attitude to exposing rape culture.
